Through the Fire, Into the Drop: CMR x WAB25 Is Here

We made it.

After a few intense weeks of pushing through every kind of delay, headache and tech glitch possible, we’re proud (and honestly, a bit emotional) to finally launch the CMR x WAB25 collection — our official collaboration with the Cameroon Basketball Federation to celebrate the Lionesses’ journey to Women’s AfroBasket 2025 in Abidjan.

This drop isn’t just about merch. It’s about legacy.

The CMR x WAB25 collection dives deep into Cameroonian identity — not through big flashy flag prints, but through the textures, symbols and craft that have shaped the country’s visual language. We researched traditional beadwork, line art, and patterns then wove those influences into modern fanwear using the colours of the flag in subtle, powerful ways.

We also took inspiration from the Cameroon jersey font that fans know and love — a detail that roots this collection firmly in the present, while honouring the past.

But most importantly, we designed with this belief:

Fanwear should be wearable — not just in the stands, but on the street, on a night out, or when you’re just feeling proud of where you’re from.

You shouldn’t need a reason to rep your tribe. You should be able to wear it, feel good in it, and when someone asks you about it, be able to tell the story behind it.

This collab took a toll. I’m not gonna lie. There were moments I cried on the phone. There were moments I wanted to scrap it all. There were long days where things just didn’t go right. But there were also those moments of deep pride, of looking at a design and knowing we did something different.
